We’ll continue to adjust Qantas and Jetstar services as needed in light of the latest advice and restrictions from the federal, state and territory governments on non-essential travel.

Customers with bookings until May 31 can cancel their flight and receive a travel credit which can be used for travel up until at least late 2021.

Today we are announcing significant changes to our business, in response to the evolving Coronavirus situation, including various government-imposed travel restrictions beyond our control.
- Suspension of all Qantas and Jetstar international flights from the end of March until at least 31 May 2020.

If you’re booked to fly up until 31 May 2020 and no longer wish to travel, you can avoid change fees by having the value of your fight transferred to a flight credit. This credit can be redeemed up until 30 September 2020 or 12 months from the original date of ticket issue, whichever date is later.

**UPDATE** Several Qantas flights for Sunday 15 March have been re-timed to arrive before midnight. QF139 Sydney-Christchurch and QF135 Brisbane-Christchurch. In addition, the New Zealand Government has advised passengers arriving before 1am NZ time will be exempt from the new travel measures to allow for any potential operational delay.
