After Life was the best thing I've seen for a long time.

I died 9 years ago when I became permanently disabled. My wife couldn’t take being married to a disabled man, so she left me. Same with almost all my friends. Of course I hade to retire from a career I loved. I turned very bitter and nearly drove my daughters away. The only one I kept close to me was my dog. He understood me. It took me 5 years to come up for air. And that was with therapy. I’m happy to say I’m married again and finally enjoy life. Your shows always life me up Ricky. Thank you for being you!

My favorite part. Tony says I love you to dad. Dad says, “gay”. Tony chuckles. I lost it.

I have never ever written a fan message to any actor but after binge watching After Life I have to tell you how incredibly real, heart-wrenching & true to life every emotion was portrayed.I absolutely loved it even though I cried through much of it.After losing my husband suddenly & tragically I went through all those emotions and no one really could understand how I felt until I saw your show- you got it! It feels as if you yourself have experienced the death of your most cherished loved one & you expressed it beautifully! I was astounded when you talked about hope because I told my priest that I had lost all hope when my husband died, & in the end, you do express hope as I thought I never could. Beautifully written, acted & portrayed. Thank you for creating a story worth telling & telling it in such an honest way that I could never express. You deserve every accolade & success that comes your way!

Had to tell.my sister how good afterlife is I hope she watches it I love to share beautiful things with her

It was so good. The ending was just the message the world needs right now . Try and make other people happy! It will actually make you happy in return . The old lady at that cemetery was the best !!!

The Office was incredibly well-timed comedy, and Derek was beautiful "human portrait" writing with a lot of laughter, but After Life is brutal, warm and honest. Top notch.

Best thing I've seen in a long time!!!!!! One minute I was crying, the next I was pissing myself laughing. When the little ginger lad called you a paedo .... I nearly popped a rib laughing at your response

Wonderful. I laughed and cried and laughed some more. The scene where Tony's dad remembered him broke me.
I hadnt actual realised what a brilliant actor RG is.
A perfect series that will live long in the memory . I feel like watching it all again now .

Beautiful. Sad. Funny. Inspiring. I loved every second of it xx
