For all the hand-wringing about overzealous punditry, the Mueller report was by and large an affirmation of the mainstream media’s investigative reporting. Almost all the big stories were confirmed in the report.

Bernie Sanders Can Win, But He Isn’t Polling Like A Favorite

Sanders is the only one with any real grassroots support, and a lot of it. These are the sort of people that will work and/or volunteer 50-80hrs a week busting their ass on the ground to campaign for him and his platform. He claims to have at least a million people signed up, but even if say only 25% of those people actually show up when activated, that's 250,000 people on the ground. That's more than 10x what Clinton & DNC had for her actual campaign after "winning" the nomination (20,000~25,000). It's still super early, yet Sanders has a ground game that dwarfs even what the combined resources of the DNC can put up in the presidential.
Why wasn't that factored in at all?

Bernie Sanders isn't a Democrat.
That’s because most Democratic women can’t stand him.
Funny. Last time I checked he's leading in national polling.

Bernie would turn 80 in his first year. He’s way too old. He accomplished almost nothing all his years in the Senate.

God, that Podcast about Giannis being the clear cut MVP was ridiculous. Harden had the best offensive season ever you think it’s not even close?

How revolutionary is the proposal to add a citizenship question to the 2020 census?

It's an extremely relevant data point. This is the sort of thing the Census is built to answer.
It would be funny if Democrats in Majority Republican districts responded to the Census as a non citizen.
Apr 23, 2019 at 16:27
The census is not to count immigrants. The census is taking count of how many people are in each district in order to dispense money needed, i e. schools, etc.

Republicans may be more motivated to scrutinize the Russia investigation if Democrats are using it to push to impeach Trump.

The GOP governs out of spite these days, and that’s no way to run a stable country.

You do statistics well. Leave political “innocuousness” to others like the center right New York Times.

Impeachment isn't going to happen over this.

The smart move would be a censure vote.

I hope all of you who don’t want Sanders are advocating for Ranked Choice Voting! He could easily win under the current plurality system. I’m a Bernie fan, and I’d love to see him run third party, which is only viable under RCV or a similar system.

That's pretty surprising. My circles are pretty warm on Bernie still, and cold on Harris.
This is going to be an interesting election.

I dunno. I'm not a state party insider by any stretch, and I have to say I agree with this poll, as far as the three candidates I least would support.

The focus should be on plastic and aluminum recycling. If we nationally focus on these materials we can have a simple system that is highly efficient and has a high reclamation rate.
If glass and cardboard/paper recycling aren't profitable on their own, there's a good chance it's greener to just put these materials in a landfill.
Apr 23, 2019 at 05:14
I'm kind of over recycling anyway. I miss just throwing everything in the same bin.
Apr 23, 2019 at 00:59
We need to pressure corporations to stop manufacturing single use plastics and push stores to stop carrying them.

My central Florida county, Pasco, just tonight announced they will no longer be accepting glass in the recycling containers or at the drop off center. Happy Frickin Earth Day.

Dems need someone to win the midwest for the electoral college. The midwest is the traditional home of the US Socialist movement. Bernie will win.
