  • hello it's Yannick
  • today I'm going to show you another bread recipe
  • I already presented you a recipe
  • in which you can make your bread without kneading
  • in a dutch-oven
  • another on a baking sheet
  • today I'm going to show you
  • not only a bread but two breads with no-kneading and no-shaping
  • a sandwich bread and a traditional one
  • follow me
  • we will start with the sandwich bread
  • you can use the type of flour you want
  • the process is always the same
  • three cups of flour
  • 500 g
  • of...
  • I could not do better
  • 500 g of flour
  • in which we will add
  • in which we will add 1/4 of teaspoon of dry baking yeast
  • a teaspoon of sugar
  • and a teaspoon of salt
  • with a whisk, you mix everything
  • and you add a cup and a half of water
  • so for observers
  • that's a cup and that's a half cup
  • so we put three times half cup
  • which I add
  • a tablespoon of cider vinegar
  • a tablespoon of vegetable oil
  • let's keep in mind that we are making our sandwich bread
  • with a fork, a spatula or the handle of a wooden spoon
  • mix everything together
  • until you get a ball more or less uniform
  • that's it
  • our bread is ready
  • let's do the traditional bread
  • for our traditional bread
  • we repeat the same process
  • three cups of flour
  • the ingredients are a little bit different
  • we will add
  • a quarter of a teaspoon dry baking yeast
  • a teaspoon of salt
  • you mix your dry ingredients
  • and you add to it
  • a cup and a half of water
  • or a cup and a half of water (different French vocabulary)
  • or three times 1/2 cup water
  • which corresponds to approximately 360 ml of water
  • always using your spatula, you mix everything
  • and "voilà" our traditional bread dough is ready
  • cover your bowl with a shower cap
  • a damp cloth or a plastic bag
  • and you let your dough raise between 8 to 12 hours
  • for you, it will be instantaneous however for me I'm going to wait all night long
  • and tomorrow morning I will show you how I cook them
  • See you
  • "voilà"
  • our dough have been resting for 12 hours
  • see the result
  • here we have our traditional bread dough
  • and here, our sandwich bread
  • before putting them
  • in a mold
  • we will preheat our oven to a temperature of 230°c (450°F)
  • and we will place in the oven
  • a bucket of water to ensure a constant humidity
  • when our breads will bake
  • you see, I just take a mold in which I place water
  • and we'll put it in the bottom of our oven
  • here we go
  • for our doughs
  • we will simply transfer them
  • in molds
  • here I have a mold for the sandwich bread
  • and there I took a cake pan to make us a traditional bread more or less round
  • let's start
  • by coating the inside with oil
  • to prevent our bread sticking to the mold
  • when you oil your molds
  • use your hands
  • it will not hurt you ...
  • you clean the excess of oil with a piece of paper
  • no need to fry your bread here!
  • using a silicone spatula you will simply pour your dough into your mold
  • you can see that until then, there is nothing that complicated
  • that's where we have our sandwich bread
  • and here our traditional bread
  • we will cover them with a cloth
  • and let them sit for 4-5 minutes
  • a wet cloth or a plastic bag
  • ok, 5 minutes later
  • we will be able to bake our breads
  • just for decoration
  • we'll be adding flaxseeds, it will be rather nice
  • you can use any seeds
  • Of course
  • we will bake our loaves for a cooking time of
  • 40 to 45 minutes
  • our breads are ready we will be able to get them out of the oven
  • here we have our sandwich bread
  • and here our traditional one
  • perfect
  • to keep the crust slightly soft on our bread
  • we will melt a small piece of butter on top
  • a little piece of butter like that
  • that you spread
  • on top
  • we will now let them cool
  • before I can cut them and show you inside each bread
  • About 1 hour have now passed
  • I'm going to cut the bread and show you inside
  • we will start with our sandwich bread
  • so we have a bread that has beautiful holes, well inflated, very soft
  • that will allow us to make great sandwiches
  • that was our sandwich bread
  • our traditional bread
  • there it is
  • we have a well raised bread
  • it will be perfect for making tartines
  • or to eat with what ever you want ...
