  • is taken hostage in Afghanistan
  • by a terrorist group know as the Ten Rings.
  • Stark pretends to craft a Jericho Missile,
  • but secretly builds a badass arc reactor-powered metal suit
  • that he uses to break free.
  • Tony announces Stark Industries will no longer
  • manufacture weapons which really pisses off
  • his business partner, Obadiah Stane.
  • Pepper Potts discovers Stane
  • hired the Ten Rings to kill Tony,
  • but the time she and a few agents of S.H.I.E.L.D
  • try to arrest Stane, he has already left Tony for dead
  • and reverse engineered his own massive mech suit.
  • Stark pops his old arc reactor back into his chest
  • and flies in to save the day.
  • Iron Man battles Iron Monger atop Stark Industries
  • until Pepper overloads the original massive arc reactor,
  • causing a surge that kills Stane.
  • Tony announces to the world that he is Iron Man.
  • He returns home to find Nick Fury lurking in the shadows

  • but suffers career-ending hand injuries.
  • Strange seeks the mysterious healers
  • who helped a paraplegic man walk again.
  • Mordo welcomes Strange into the Kamar-Taj.
  • The Ancient One accepts him as a student of the Mystic Arts.
  • Strange befriends Master Wong
  • and learns of the three sanctums
  • that protect Earth from interdimensional threats.
  • Kaecilius destroys the London Sanctum
  • and uses the stolen texts to contact Dormammu.

  • Bruce Banner warns Doctor Strange and Stark of Thanos' plan
  • to restore balance to the Universe through genocide.
  • Ebony Maw and Obsidian take Manhattan
  • to collect the Time Stone,
  • but can't shake Iron Man and Spider-Man.
  • Meanwhile, the rest of the Black Order
  • ambushes Vision and Scarlet Witch's make-out session.
  • But Captain America and the rogue Avengers intervene.
  • The Guardians of the Galaxy come upon Thor
  • floating through Space.

  • to forge Stormbreaker,
  • a legendary battleax capable of ending Thanos.

  • In Wakanda the Avengers battle Thanos' army.

  • and the rest of the Black Order are eliminated.
  • Desperate, Wanda kills Vision
  • to stop Thanos from taking the Mind Stone.
  • Thanos reverses time and claims the Mind Stone.
  • Thor throws Stormbreaker into Thanos' chest,
  • but it doesn't stop him from snapping half the Universe
  • into dust, including most of your favorite heroes.
  • The Avengers defeated, Thanos enjoys a beautiful sunset.
  • Not long before the snappening,
  • Scott Lang is on house arrest, estranged from the Pyms
  • for working with Cap's rogue Avengers in Germany.
  • Yeah, this feels pretty low-stakes
  • all things considered, right?

  • Anyway, Lang reaches out to Hope
  • regarding weird messages he's been getting
  • via quantum entanglement with her mother,
  • the original Wasp, Janet van Dyne.
  • Hank and Hope kidnap Scott to help locate Janet
  • in the subatomic levels of the Quantum Realm.
  • But, all three end up captured by Ghost and Hank's
  • former partner, Bill Foster
  • in an effort to gather quantum energy from Janet.
  • Pym and Hope escape, but are captured by the FBI.
  • Shit!
  • For people who can shrink,
  • you'd think this family would be more elusive.
  • Scott breaks them out.
  • Hank descends into the Quantum Realm to rescue his wife.
  • They reunite and kiss despite her not brushing her teeth
  • for like 30 years.
  • Janet hooks Ghost up with some quantum energy
  • and she's cured.
  • Both Ant-Men are reunited with their Wasp and all is well.
  • Until they decide to mess around in the Quantum Realm again
  • at literally the worst possible time.
  • The Avengers lost.

  • Danvers destroys the experimental ship's energy core
  • to keep it from the Kree causing an energy blast
  • that gives her superhuman powers and erases her memory.
  • Fast-forward a few years to Hala,
  • capital of the Kree Empire.
  • Danvers is a member of the Kree Starforce under Yon-Rogg.
  • She is captured by Skrulls,
  • a race of shapeshifters at war with the Kree,
  • but soon escapes and crash lands in Los Angeles.
  • Skrulls disrupt S.H.I.E.L.D.'s questioning of Danvers.
  • Carol punches an old lady in the face,
  • and Fury eliminates an imposter of Coulson.
  • At her old base Carol and Fury piece together her past.
  • Carol unravels more of her past,
  • reconnecting with her BFF Maria
  • until Talos arrives and reveals Yon-Rogg
  • has actually been the bad guy all along.
  • Maybe she shouldn't have punched that old lady
  • in the face after all.
  • Turns out Mar-Vell was helping the Skrulls find refuge
  • after being displaced by the Kree.
  • At Mar-Vell's secret orbiting lab Talos is reunited
  • with his family and a certain Tesseract.
  • Starforce bust in, capture Carol,
  • and force her to face the Supreme Intelligence.
  • Carol breaks free, unleashing her full potential.
  • Goose saves Fury
  • when it's revealed everyone's favorite little kitty
  • is actually a Flerken,
  • an incredibly dangerous alien species.
  • Kree agent Ronan the Accuser
  • launches a barrage of missiles at Earth.
  • Carol zooms through the sky destroying all incoming missiles
  • and scaring the pants off of Ronan.
  • Carol sends Yon-Rogg back to Hala
  • as a warning to the Supreme Intelligence.
  • Carol gives Fury an intergalactic pager
  • in case of emergency.
  • And by emergencies she means
  • don't even think about bothering me
  • unless half the living creatures in existence are dying.
  • The Avengers lost.
  • Half of the living things in the Universe are dust.
  • Captain Marvel rescues Tony and Nebula from Deep Space.
  • She then leaves the Avengers
  • to take the Infinity Stones from Thanos,
  • but they're too late.
  • Thanos destroys the Stones, so Thor destroys his face.
  • A street rat frees Ant-Man from the Quantum Realm.
  • Ant-Man, Cap, and Black Widow recruit Stark
  • to use the Quantum Realm to go back in time and stop Thanos,
  • but he declines wanting only to be a good family man.
  • Professor Hulk builds a time machine,
  • but it doesn't go so well.
  • Stark's guilt motivates him to build a time machine.
  • They get the gang back together,
  • convincing Lebowski Thor to take a break from Fortnite,
  • and Clint to take a few days off from his murderous rampage
  • to collect the Infinity Stones scattered across time.
  • The Avengers split into teams.
  • Back at the Battle of New York,
  • Hulk convinces The Ancient One to hand over the Time Stone.
  • The other three Avengers snatch up
  • the Space and Mind Stones,
  • but fumble the Space Stone to Loki
  • who quickly teleports away with it.
  • Cap runs into his past self,
  • then he and Stark head back further in time
  • to retrieve the Space Stone from 1970.
  • Stark says hi to his pops, Cap oogles Peggy Carter,
  • and they successfully bring back the Space Stone.
  • In 2013 Asgard, Thor retrieves his hammer
  • and Rocket extracts the Aether from Jane.
  • In 2014 Black Widow sacrifices herself for the Soul Stone
  • while Nebula and Rhodes swipe the Power Stone
  • out from under Quill.
  • Future Nebula's memories are projected through Past Nebula
  • via the Cloud or something.
  • Anyway, Thanos is on to them.
  • The Avengers reassemble in the present.
  • Hulk uses the Stark Gauntlet to snap everyone back to life.
  • Meanwhile, 2014 Nebula uses their time machine
  • to bring Thanos to the present.
  • Thanos and his army wage an all-out attack
  • on the Avengers Headquarters.
  • 2014 Gamora betrays Thanos
  • and the battle over the Gauntlet rages.
  • Doctor Strange brings everyone together on the battlefield.
  • Well, almost everyone.
  • And the Avengers line up for a money shot
  • 10 years in the making.
  • Captain Marvel nearly escapes with the Gauntlet,
  • but Thanos reclaims it.
  • He snaps only to discover the Stones
  • are now in Iron Man's Guantlet.
  • Stark snaps, sacrificing his life to defeat Thanos
  • and his army once and for all.
  • And causing all grown men in the theater to cry.
  • Thor joins the Guardians
  • and crowns Valkyrie the ruler of New Asgard.
  • Cap goes back in time once more
  • to put the Stones back in their rightful timelines
  • and elects to stay in the past
  • with the love of his life, Peggy Carter.
  • Back in the present, an elderly Rogers
  • passes the shield and mantle of Captain America to Sam.
