  • Welcome to Yummy Kitchen!
  • Today, we're going to cook Egg Sticks.
  • Let's start cooking!
  • Let's start by cracking the eggs.
  • In this recipe, I used 4 eggs.
  • Ten, we're gonna put some salt
  • and ground black pepper to taste.
  • We will just beat it to incorporate the seasonings.
  • After beating the eggs, we'll set it aside.
  • Now, we're gonna put some oil to our container.
  • I used llanera.
  • You may use any heat-proof container.
  • Here's the beaten egg.
  • We're gonna pour it to the greased container.
  • Then, we will cover it with foil to prevent water from dripping while steaming.
  • Then, we'll arrange it in the steamer.
  • And steam it in low heat for 8 minutes.
  • After 8 minutes, here's our steamed eggs.
  • We will check it if it's cooked.
  • I did the toothpick test. If it comes out clean, it's ready!
  • So we will remove it from heat.
  • Now, remove the eggs from the container.
  • Then, let's cut into fingers or sticks.
  • Cut it depending on the shape or size you want.
  • Now, we will make some coating for our egg fingers.
  • I used cheese-flavored crackers.
  • You may use ordinary bread crumbs.
  • We will also need some all-purpose flour.
  • We'll also add some fried chicken breading but it is optional.
  • Add ground black pepper.
  • and salt
  • Mix until ingredients are well-combined.
  • We're gonna crack 1 egg for coating.
  • So now, we're gonna do the breading.
  • Here's the egg sticks we cut earlier.
  • Dip in the beaten egg.
  • Then, coat with seasoned all-purpose flour.
  • Make sure that the egg sticks are well-coated with flour.
  • Then, dip it back to the beaten egg.
  • Then we'll coat it with bread crumbs
  • We'll do the same to the rest of the egg sticks.
  • Now, we're gonna deep-fry our egg sticks.
  • Make sure that oil is hot already before putting the egg sticks.
  • Fry until golden brown.
  • Once the egg sticks become golden brown, remove from the heat.
  • I used paper towels to remove excess oil.
  • And here's our fried egg sticks~
