  • Hello everybody.
  • Hey.
  • Hey.
  • Hi.
  • First of all, I have to say, I love the show.
  • Thank you.
  • It's a great idea, whose-ever idea this was.
  • It was a great idea.
  • TI, I haven't seen you in about 10 years, so good to see you.
  • You look good.
  • Well thank you, so do you.
  • You look good.
  • And you, I have to say thank you so much.
  • You just got off a plane from Paris.
  • You were at the fashion shows in Paris,
  • literally landed and came straight here.
  • Thank you so much for doing that.
  • How was that?
  • Well, I did my makeup in the car, and you know,
  • I'm un-huggable right now because I couldn't take
  • a shower, but--
  • You know what I'm saying?
  • You smell fine.
  • But how was it in Paris?
  • It was amazing.
  • I had a good time.
  • Yeah.
  • What shows did you go to?
  • I went to the Chanel show, and to the Tom Browne show.
  • I did.
  • Fancy.
  • You like to go to those, right?
  • Yeah.
  • And do you buy things there?
  • Yeah.
  • Well, yeah.
  • Of course.
  • Yeah?
  • You know what I'm saying?
  • Wonderful.
  • Wasn't really busy that day on the street.
  • What's this, what's happening?
  • Are you fencing somebody?
  • No, it's fashion.
  • Oh, I'm sorry.
  • Sorry.
  • And Chance, I just saw you recently.
  • Every day, I see you.
  • Yeah, I know.
  • Now you're just here weekly, or something.
  • I like it.
  • And so let's talk about the show, and how this came about.
  • Yeah.
  • So it's hip hop's first legitimate TV competition
  • series on Netflix.
  • And it's basically myself, my fellow judges,
  • seeing the greatest talent in hip hop across the nation
  • and bringing them into one place and trying
  • to see what they got.
  • And who's the hardest on them?
  • So far, I've seen the first episode, and who do you think
  • is the hardest?
  • It's definitely not Cardi.
  • I was hard.
  • Yeah, Cardi just-- She--
  • I feel like it was on the sly, though.
  • We'll be the hard--
  • Because--
  • Well, I like you, but I don't know.
  • So what do you think, Chance?
  • Yeah, it comes down to me every time.
  • Yeah, it's always up to Chance.
  • Right.
  • No, you told somebody you didn't like them.
  • Oh, a couple of them.
  • Yeah.
  • A couple of them, I said a couple of them.
  • And have you found anybody?
  • Obviously you've finished shooting all of this.
  • Have you found anybody that's really amazing,
  • and do they get to work with you?
  • What happens?
  • So many.
  • I mean, there's so many, there's so many phenomenally talented
  • artists that we had the opportunity of working with
  • and kind of shaping and molding their journeys.
  • Yeah.
  • Yeah.
  • And then you get a little piece of everything
  • they do for the rest of their lives.
  • No, no, no, no.
  • No?
  • I don't want that kind of responsibility.
  • And you had appearances from some really cool people, right?
  • Yeah.
  • So you had Snoop Dogg.
  • Yeah.
  • The late Nipsey Hussle.
  • Yeah, Nip the Great, absolutely.
  • Fat Joe.
  • Fat Joe, definitely.
  • He was tough.
  • Jadakiss.
  • Oh, he was the toughest.
  • I ain't gonna front.
  • And Snoop, too, though.
  • Snoop was something, but Fat Joe, he was having it.
  • Yeah.
  • Yeah.
  • Now, do you think you're tougher on women than they are?
  • No.
  • Well, kind of, because you know when it comes to women,
  • I feel like it's, you have to have the whole package.
  • You know what I'm saying?
  • You've got to have the right voice, because let me tell you
  • something.
  • There's some women on Instagram, they can rap,
  • but their voice is just, I don't feel like people
  • want to hear it for too long.
  • So it's just--
  • That, you have to have the confidence.
  • You almost have to be, also not even really like an open book,
  • but everybody just wants to know you.
  • I always tell the girls, you got to be
  • that girl that guys want to be with and girls want to be like.
  • Yeah.
  • Well, that's kind of, that's with guys too.
  • That you, that guys want to--
  • Well, not be with, but guys want to like and be like, right?
  • Yeah, sure.
  • Wasn't it-- So, you're married to Offset, just
  • in case you didn't know.
  • Wasn't it Offset who kind of told you,
  • it's time for you to get married?
  • Yeah.
  • I was at Coachella when you performed, what was this,
  • two years ago, I think.
  • And I met Set, he had a party at, we went to French's house,
  • to French Montana's house.
  • We were all in the backyard, and he pulled me to the side,
  • and he told me that you guys had just
  • got married in the backyard.
  • He was like, yo, you need to take care of business, blah,
  • blah, blah.
  • Yeah, and I came back home, and I proposed two months later.
  • Wow.
  • Did you know that?
  • I didn't know that 'til you said that in an interview,
  • and I was like, oh my God.
  • That is so beautiful, and marriage is such a crazy unity.
  • Yes.
  • In a good way, right?
  • In a good way.
  • In a good way.
  • Yeah.
  • Y'all have a very unusual way of showing your affection
  • in public.
  • Oh.
  • Well--
  • Do y'all always kiss like that?
  • Only when we're in France.
  • It's supposed to be covered up with the mouth.
  • The mouth, and then that stuff happens inside the mouth.
  • Yeah, but you know what I'm saying,
  • sometimes when we do all that--
  • You know what I'm saying?
  • I have makeup, and then all that, lip glosses,
  • and the concealer gets on his face.
  • Then he look like he ate a donut and whatnot.
  • So we just got to, you know what I'm saying?
  • No, now I get it.
  • That's--
  • That ever happen before to you?
  • No, but now that I see that that's
  • why we should do it, yeah.
  • Ladies, men, that's the way you kiss when you've got makeup on,
  • so you don't have to get it all over his face.
  • That's when the lips are in the way.
  • Yeah.
  • The lips are in the way.
  • The lips are just in the way.
  • Get straight to the good stuff.
  • We're going to take a break and see if any of that airs.
  • We'll be back.
  • Hi, I'm Andy.
  • Ellen asked me to remind you to subscribe to her channel
  • so you can see more awesome videos,
  • like videos of me getting scared, or saying
  • embarrassing things, like ball peen hammer, and also

  • into that sort of thing.
