  • First of all, I love your shoes so much. Thank you. How old are you Tyler? I'm 11 years old so
  • It looks like you have the violin. When did you start playing violin?
  • Well, I started playing the violin when I was seven and a half and what made you get into playing violin?
  • I wanted to start playing the violin because I was being bullied at school
  • Oh, man. Do you know why you were being bullied?
  • It's because I had cancer I almost died
  • My name is Tyler Butler Figueroa, and I'm from North Carolina. I was diagnosed with cancer at the age of four and a half
  • Leukemia is a cancer
  • in the blood
  • One day we were out to dinner and we said something doesn't look right with Tyler he kind of pale
  • So a mother's instinct said let me get him to the emergency room. It was like, let's take some blood work and we'll be back
  • the doctors came in
  • Said yeah, he does have cancer
  • And
  • It was the worst day of my life
  • the doctors treated me with
  • Chemotherapy when I lost my hair, I was really sad and embarrassed at the same time to go to school
  • They used to make fun of me and laugh at me because I was different
  • they
  • would spread rumors
  • to say that
  • My cancer was contagious and they all wanted to stay away from me
  • One day
  • time I saw a flyer at his school and it said
  • After-school program the free violin lessons because like mom I want to do it mom. I want to do it
  • I was like, but no one our family plays an instrument. What a Novelli I
  • Would just practice in my bedroom and the more I did it the better I got once. He started that class
  • It was like a sunshine. He was just full of energy the happy I was like, oh my god. I got my son back
  • When I play the violin it helps me forget about all the bad stuff. I
  • Just didn't want to be the kid what can't sir?
  • Now I'm the kid who plays the violin
  • I
  • Just want to commend you for taking some things that's probably been one of the hardest things you'll ever have to go through and
  • Turning it around and finding something that brings you joy
  • Wow Wow Wow, by the way before I start how are you feeling now? I'm feeling really proud of myself
  • If you don't mind me asking Tyler, how is your health now? Well, I've been in remission for almost four years
  • You know what you are an extraordinary young man
  • We hear too many stories about people being bullied, but I can tell you one thing. Most people are bullies because
  • They're better than the people who bully there. I
  • Think you have such an amazing talent such a personality and I would like to say something
  • on your behalf to the bullies
  • Amazing are you up to this? Yeah
  • When I shake it
  • You
  • Very proud of myself and I feel very happy

  • so we met all the puppies and
  • Fico was peeing on my dad's leg and I wasn't I thought it was funny
  • We should take him and was the start of a great friendship
  • I'm Lucas. I'm 22 years old and this is my best friend I go
  • When I was a child if I was afraid of dogs, they terrified me and say no never ever will
  • I accept a dog in our family when I was 14 my worst nightmare got a reality
  • My family told me that we will get a dog
  • At first I didn't want to be his friend
  • But eventually I just looked at his eyes and he was the first dog who won me over
  • Look at his face. How could I not love him?
  • So it started to do some tricks with him we train every day and FICO get better and better
  • He really knows that he is a star
  • In the last nine years, we've danced so much together and we grow together
  • Is a really really special dog for me. I can't explain how much feelings I have for him

  • Welcome. Hey, how are you? What's your groups name VN meter booth and where are you from Mumbai, India?
  • What's it like there tell us more about your where you're from Oh life in MU mates like very hard the life in slum
  • they don't get proper water and
  • everything they like
  • They are V unbeatable dance troupe
  • Our group consists of 28 dancers is 12 to 27 and we are from Mumbai, India
  • Many of the members of a group live in slums
  • The slums are very crowded very dirty and they don't get proper electricity
  • Often seven to ten people are staying in one room. It is very challenging to survive over there
  • Each day, we pray for his better life, but in the slums, there is very little opportunity for us
  • When we dance we forget all the tensions in our mind
  • And we feel free
  • For the past two weeks we are not able to sleep
  • This opportunity could change our life and everyone wants to succeed to give back to the families
  • We used to see the America's Got Talent on YouTube
  • We were like, can we go here like some day we were just dreaming about it. And today we are here I
  • Can't explain it in words
  • It's our dream come true
  • If you win America's Got Talent, what do you want to see for the group
  • We want the world to know it was bein beatable
  • Good luck
  • Let's see what you got
  • Please take the mic
  • You're the headlines of your life so we know a little bit more about you before we start sure
  • So obviously I have a disability. I think the technical term for it is being very handsome
  • Where would you like to be?
  • Do you want to see yourself as a Turing Act?
  • TV or Vedas when I was growing up there was nobody that look like me on television
  • So I kind of want to be the first one that's doing all that
  • I want people to be able to look at what I'm doing
  • All right, well good luck, thank you so much. Yeah
  • So I love being a stand-up comedian this is what I always wanted to do I have had other jobs in the past though
  • I used to juggle chainsaws
  • It went well for a while I had to get out couldn't take the politics is what it was
  • The other thing I wanted to be was a pro wrestler
  • That's the absolute truth. I had a name picked out in everything. I was gonna be the cripple threat
  • That was
  • Well that was clever, but people will ask me dumb questions all the time. I'll get this one a lot. They'll be like hey Ryan
  • Is that genetic?
  • Yes, because you see my mom was Irish and my dad was a lobster
  • Kids are the worst though. All kids are the absolute worst though. Cuz kids don't have that filter
  • You know, if the kid says you're ugly. You're ugly. Alright deal with it buy a hat. I don't know what to tell you
  • I had this eight-year-old girl recently come up to me
  • And if you ever feeling pretty good about yourself, but an eight-year-old girl verbally kicked you in the nuts. That'll fix that for you
  • But this little girl after she saw me and after she screamed and screamed it was big scream
  • Which sidenote has led me to a new game that I play?
  • Now when I'm out in public and I see a child staring at my arms
  • I like to pretend that I'm discovering them for the first time, too
  • That's why I'm not a lot of Toys R Us anymore
  • Thank you so much
  • I
  • Think you are amazing
  • I'm just curious why have you not had to break you're looking for yet?
  • I think part of it is having a disability like this
  • It's really hard to kind of break through without people thinking you're a novelty act. I've had the Booker tell me
  • Oh, I don't think this is what we like this isn't what the people want here. So he's the one with the disability. No you
  • Million you are real you are authentic you are funny
  • You are a star
  • There is battle moon that you should not be allowed to play in and I believe that you should be in the finals here
  • I love you
  • You're freaking funny and I just want more
  • You're brilliant, thank you
  • Literally everything about you just screams. I am awesome. I am funny

  • And what does this mean to you this is the dream countries that I'm dreaming right now
  • We are from a small community in Limpopo South Africa
  • there's a lot of difficulties they
  • Growing up. It has been really hard for us
  • The place it has a lot of poverty
  • Many places have no electricity and most of the homes do not have running water. It is very difficult
  • The challenges these kids face it's devastating
  • Many of our kids parents have passed away
  • They've got to look after their little siblings on their own
  • So to try and help those orphans and vulnerable children
  • We started acquire
  • My father pasto in two years ago everything changed
  • It was very difficult I
  • Had to take care of all of us and I was to the ones
  • How is it going to be
  • Okay
  • When they join us many of our kids have the weight of the world on their shoulders and to them they problems feel
  • insurmountable
  • For us it's not easy to dream so I didn't like to smile
  • but after joining the choir, I found my voice and
  • it
  • Brought back the smile on my face
  • Being in the choir, it just gave me a sense of belonging my confidence to not be afraid
  • That it's okay to dream. So you just saw the sky as a limit. It's actually that's why now
  • We want to show the whole world that anything is possible
  • They come from one of the poorest communities in the world yet these kids managed to lift themselves up
  • To see them standing on the stage of America's Got Talent tonight
  • and
  • Sorry
  • You can't help but just burst with pride
  • Can you tell me the song is original was it about
  • so the song that we gonna sing for you today is called my African dream couldn't be more perfect for today because it
  • expresses hopes and dreams and
  • Our dream is to let children around the world know that just because you're born in poverty. It doesn't mean that you are poverty
  • All right, well that's pretty exciting
  • You've come all the way from South Africa and you are now on the biggest talent stage in the world
  • So I can't wait to hear what it is you do. Thank you
  • No
  • You tomorrow
  • It's the trees
  • I'm Michael Paul. I'm a bird trainer and I specialize in birds of prey
  • The bird I brought today is a very special bird
  • What makes it beautiful is also what makes it very dangerous the beak the claws the wingspan
  • He is quite smart, and we have a particular bond
  • that allows me to
  • Go outside certain comfort zones to try different things out
  • But the other side to that is I haven't really had him in this kind of environment
  • She smells the bird in there do you smell Willie in there?
  • Working with birds of prey there are a lot of risks many injuries are possible and have happened when I take off the cloth on
  • The cage how will the animal respond to the lights and the moving cameras and the crew?
  • Even with training it is not hard to trigger a bird of prey
  • If they're feeling like they are in danger they might want to attack

  • This is uh, this is Willie Willie say hello say hello
  • Say hello Wow, very good there very good. I'd like you to welcome Willie of course by saying hello Willie
  • They're a nice job, okay
  • This animal seems very docile in captivity
  • but in the wild he is known as a bird of prey but on a
  • nylon
  • I'm Jewish
  • You're a little out of control remember there so that now folks when animals are in a new environment the biggest problem is obedience
  • so what a lot of zookeepers and trainers and veterinarians use
  • Is a little hypnosis and this is not a very heavy
  • Transplant when I say seeing he will sing when I say sleep. He will sleep when I save
  • crap
  • This would be a lot easier for you Justin more bird things. Hey, I am a master
